Extreme Beer Fest

And if you’re not careful you can end up with a website that is just a marketing gimmick in order to make a quick buck. We were there to meet the guys behind the site, and also to talk about the site a little bit. It was a great event with lots of talk and good beer. I think I have more beer stories to tell, but it was too late in the day to get the event photos ready. I’ll certainly be doing more of those in the future. Frankly, I’ve never had enough energy after a week of EBF to make it to the Sunday brunch, but if you’re up for it after six days of beer madness, check out the official after-party at Kirkland Tap & Trotter.

Here you’ll find BeerAdvocate’s Alströms bros and Dogfish Head’s Sam Calagione. Of course, plenty of great brunch dishes and Dogfish for your del mar beer festival 2015 hangover nursing pleasure. The beer lineup is the same for all three sessions, however, all beers are subject to change and availability.

A new concept for the new year.

It won’t be the first time it snowed during Extreme Beer Fest (it’s winter, in Boston), or the last, but it depends on the amount of snow and how the city/state reacts to it. The idea is that if you want to show a link to a page on your site, you need to make sure that there is a page that is linked. Night Shift Brewing, one of the fastest growing breweries in the state, was one of 10 Massachusetts invitees.

Here are some of the best beers to look for from this year’s fest. This year’s Extreme Beer Fest is shaping up to be another all star event, flanked by an amazing week of non-stop beer action in Boston. In fact, you don’t even have to go to the actual festival this year to benefit from all of the amazing beer that’s going to be in town. On that note, here’s my list of the best pre/after-parties each day. Another trend in coffee as an adjunct is adding it to beers that aren’t stouts or porters. Carton Brewing’s Café y Churro, a coffee-flavored cream ale , was a delight.

The site was launched to promote beer, and that we still do even though we are now a beer-centric site. We just moved the site over to BeerSchool.com and have more events listed on our events page. We are also trying to make it as easy as possible for beer lovers to find us, but theyre a little hit and miss. Since this is a Kickstarter, it took a lot of time to get them all to the event. We did have to go to the event and look up a couple of random photos, but it was still rather cool. It’s a place where I feel like the people who are interested in this are the people who are interested in the site.

Local hopheads will gather during three sessions at the Seaport World Trade Center for endless tastes of some pretty strange suds, poured by more than 70 different breweries. It’s not easy to pull off a well-balanced, juicy double IPA, which is why beers like The Alchemist’s Heady Topper and Lawson’s Finest Liquids Sip of Sunshine are surrounded by so much hype. It’s also why we love Seventh Wonder by Civil Society.

It’s a natural extension of flavoring beer with wood, wine, or other fruits, as has been done for years. I would predict that we’ll see a lot more of these sorts of experiments on shelves and in bars this year. The Publick House is hosting the first tapping of Wicked Weed kegs in Massachusetts. Staff from the Asheville brewery will be on hand to celebrate.
