I’m wondering why you did the ch system instead of just solid sc crochet across the odd rows and then count out the DCs on the even row? Seems so much cleaner and less chance off messing up. I’am very fond of this blanket, especially the geometric stripes! Yes, there is 12+3 sts but 12+5 chains, as we beginf with dc.
