Over multiple meetings, the Dummers presented plans to both the town’s zoning and planning boards. And according to Dummer, those plans were accepted. Co-founder George Cline decided to walk away amicably from the brewery last month, according to a Facebook post.
While I’m here, let me tell you about a few other special events the Knuckleheads have planned in the coming weeks. Last Thursday, for example, they presented a check for $1,000 to Foodlink. bhcc online courses Four four weeks, the Knuckleheads donated $1 for every pint of Kathy’s Kreme Ale they sold . The campaign was co-hosted by Schantz Homes, who matched every dollar donated.
His family-run brewery offers five flagship beers along with rotating seasonal brews and limited releases featuring additional “special” ingredients and/or aged in oak casks. A limo bus shuttle service will be provided from 5 to 1 p.m. Each brewery will be producing a special release one-off double dry hopped beer in a style of their choosing for the event. This is an awesome family-friendly event with donuts, cider, wagon rides, children’s crafts and games, pony rides, food trucks and live entertainment. Admission is free and there’s plenty of parking. If you’ve been watching their Facebook page recently, you might have seen the announcement that Len Dummer, owner of Knucklehead Craft Brewing, recently posted about the changes happening there. The new space is about 1200 square feet, with very handsome tiling, stonework and fencing, with plenty of room for three or four tables, even in these days of social distancing. There’s a gorgeous waterfall feature and a large fire pit with room for another eight to ten patrons. No events found for Knucklehead Craft Brewing. Check it all out for yourself this coming Saturday, from 1 to 10 p.m. At Kucklehead Craft Brewing, 426 Ridge Rd., West Webster, at the corner of Bay. I understand there’s going to be a “secret” beer on tap…. Of course, their craft brews are pretty good, too.
They updated their kitchen and expanded their menu, added merchandise, more equipment to streamline their brewing process, more staff, and regular live music. Our fave brewery in the Rochester area, and we’ve hit pretty much all of them! They don’t have a big food menu but what they do have is always delicious and they often have unique weekend specials. Their beers are always spot on and it seems they always have something new and interesting on tap.
Down to earth and really made us feel welcome on our first visit there. Remember that you’ll only be able to spin the wheel if you bring in your dog biscuits on Wednesday February 21. But it’s OK if you want to bring them on International Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day on Friday as well. Finally, on April 17, Knucklehead Craft Crewing will host “Pints for a Purpose,” a huge fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis, a disease which one of the brewery’s employees is fighting. These are large ABV, barrel-aged beers, and there’s only a limited amount available, so get them while you can; they’ll be served first-come, first-served until they run out.
I’ve tried every one i’ve ever seen there and they’ve always been exactly as described, but my go to is the Kathy’s Cream Ale. SO unique tasting and so much better than the big name local Cream ale. I’m hoping they bring back the Spruce Tip IPA as I think it’s the best beer i’ve EVER had.
